WRAP (Advisory)

Let's get a WRAP on this school year by ROCK'n WMS!!!

WRAP is a special part of Middle School. Our WRAP class becomes a family. Just like your family at home, we have difficult times, but we always stick up for each other and lift each other up in difficult times. We also celebrate the great times. We eat together, play together, bond, laugh, cry, and study together. We are a family. I guess you can call me the "mom" or better yet "gammy". I am your go-between and your go-to person. If you ever need help, I will be there.

I would like to do at least three community projects this year.  Be thinking about things we could do to make Whittier, Norman, Oklahoma, etc. a better place to live.

There is one project I have a passion for and that is "Adopt a Family" during the Winter Holiday.  Each year for the entire time I have been at Whittier my WRAP (Advisory) class has adopted a family and provided the entire family, parents and kids, with an amazing holiday celebration.  The amazing part of this is the fact that the project has made a full circle...students we adopted became the givers and the givers became the adopted family...it is truly a blessing to see how we can make a difference in lives by giving so little.  I hope we can keep this tradition alive...Please for me
