6th Grade Math Curriculum

The 6th grade math curriculum focuses on the following concepts: Order of Operations, Integers, Equations, Expressions, Translating expressions, Coordinate graphing, Fractions, decimals, and percents, Multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers, Multiplying and dividing decimals, Estimating, 3-D figures, Similar and congruent figures, Area and circumference of a circle, Measurement, Central tendency, Analyzing graphs, Patterns, and the Counting Principle.

 

The 6th grade math extensions curriculum covers the same concepts, but at a much faster pace. We will also cover many 7th grade concepts throughout the year.
